Environmental Responsibilities
Businesses today are becoming more accountable, they want to demonstrate their concern for the environment and realise that buying print is one area where they can make a difference.

Apple Colour have been recognised as a leader in the field of 'environmetally responsible' print - it's not a plan for the future, it's not just a logo, it's a total commitment which has had an impact on every area of our business.

ISO 14001 : In January 2006 we were awarded ISO 14001 certification, demonstrating that our practices and policies comply with the most rigorous internationally recognised environmental management system. It came after two years of hard work, during which time we: dramatically reduced the harmful impact that our business has on the environment.

FSC :  Attaining ISO 14001 was only the first step, which was closely followed by becoming FSC certified, a a form of independent certification, which recognises that the paper used, comes from traceable and sustainable sources from well-managed forest.

Clean Power - In addition to ensuring that 90% of our raw materials come from a sustainable or renewable source, we have taken a further step by derived our electricity from a wind-driven turbine – saving 25,846 kg of carbon emissions each year.
