We thrive on the challenge of more complicated jobs and this is a beautiful example, a lavish property development brochure for a select group of luxury homes in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
As a Bristol Printer we have worked on a number of developments in the South West and into the Midlands, working closely with Agencies to produce a property development brochure and other supporting marketing material like doordrops, DM and magazine inserts as well as floor plans. We also work with Estate Agents to produce a range of stationery, including sale sheets, property specs and T&Cs.
The textured cover is a 540gsm Colorplan White Frost Buckram. Buckram offers different textures to both sides of the stock, giving an alternative feel to the inside covers which is much smoother. The clear foiling of the logo to the cover gives a high end look and feel to this property development brochure along with the black foiling to the cover and the spot colour.
(Interesting fact, many stocks are named after the fabric weaves from which their texture originates. Buckram was a weave commonly used in hat making.)
Open the cover to reveal the delight of the spot UV on the 200gsm Satimat Silk text pages printed in 5 colours. What a difference it makes to add this gloss finish to the lifestyle photography shots of Cheltenham and the shots of the luxury homes in Lansdown Villas. A spot UV is very effective at picking out details in a spread and here it is put to good use and gives the brochure a luxury, glossy and classy feel.
This brochure proves the success that is achievable when print finishes are considered during the design process and how the balance of great design and the right stocks give you the best results. And even though timings were tight there was no compromise on the finishing and the job was turned around in a week.
